ITALY 意大利. 2011 - Part 1 Milan, Varenna, Venice, Burano & Cinque Terre : Our 19 days journey begins on 7th April when we arrived in Milan on a warm day. Italy offers many interesting experiences from bustling cities with traffic, people and fashion to lovely coastal villages and countryside to structural remnants of the Roman empire. We fell in love with their fine pasta, heavenly coffee and delicious gelato. After months of planning we narrow down to places we really want to visit and the rest will have to wait "hopefully" for the next trip. Photos are seperate into two galleries. This gallery shows the first part of our journey starting from Milan, Varenna, Venice, Burano and Cinque Terre. The second gallery features the beautiful Tuscan countryside and our final destination Rome. We hope you enjoy our photos as much as we love taking them. Grazie. Ciao :-)

ITALY 意大利 2011 - Part 2 TUSCANY & ROME : We continue our journey with Florence the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany and drive to the stunning countryside. Driving out of Florence city is a challenge as we face many traffics and trying to avoid the ZTL zones (Zona a Traffico Limitato) which is like everywhere. Once out of the big city,driving is a breeze and we can throw away our work stress and enjoy the seclusion and fresh air of the amazing Tuscan Countryside. Our final Italy destination is Roma and with only 2 full days we do not have enough time to explore this City. Oh well, we just hope to come back again and since we did the coin throwing thingy in Trevi Fountain, our wish may just come true :-) Enjoy our photos as we lead you to the charming Tuscan towns and Ruins of the Roman Empire.

FRENCH RIVIERA (COTE D' AZUR) : French Riveria also known as Cote d'Azur. We drove from Saint Tropez, St Raphael, Cannes and finally to Nice. Along the Mediterranean coast with spectacular mountains, beaches, palm-lined promenades and millionaires yachts. It is home to the rich and famous and has surpassed our expectations with regards to its beauty. Language wasn't a barrier and most people we met were nice and friendly.

ANNECY & THE FRENCH ALPS : Annecy is a stunning fairytale town. It is the place to be when visiting french alps. On our road trip, we drove to Chamonix with the most amazing scenery. What a lovely town with Mont Blanc mountain as a backdrop. We went during offpeak season and enjoy the peace, scenery and like we own it.
